In the heart of our left bank, the district of Saint-Germain-des-Pres became, after World War II, the center of the intellectual and cultural life of Paris. Take a hot chocolate on the terrace of Café de Flore or Les Deux Magots, and then stroll to one of the most preserved places of the capital: the romantic place de Furstenberg.

If you are looking for a special place, head south to La Butte aux Cailles in the 13th arrondissement. This small secluded village is perfect for a peaceful walk out of the world.

In the north of Paris, Montmartre remains the inevitable place of lovers' rendezvous. This other small village in the city invites you to stroll in its narrow streets. Go through place des Abbesses for a ride on the carousel, and admire the Wall of "Je t'aime", or visit the Museum of Romantic Life, located not far from the place du Tertre.
